Well this is a first. That computer's keyboard and mouse just froze up in the middle of using it. The only time in the past it froze was on boot up. Do you suppose if I went back to both devices being wired it would correct the problem. Seems to me it would since most of the comments here have been about wireless devices.

Well I tried this link and searched for "Firmware Updates," "Firmware Updates for MK710," Firmware Updates for M705," Driver Updates," Driver Updates for MK710," and "Driver Updates for M705" and came up with 0 results for every search. Either there is none at that site or I am not using the correct search criteria. To me the site is not user friendly but that is probably just me.

I just downloaded a program from Logitech's site that searched, found, and offered to update 21 drivers. I only let it update 2 of them. One was the mouse driver but I will check your link and see if it may have an even newer driver. Though they didn't reference the mous or keyboard, there were 2 of the updates it recommended that referenced "Human Interface Devices." Please see the attachment and advise if you think I should update those drivers as well. I'm sorry it seems you have to click on the attachment to see it. Not sure why that is.

Some USB keyboards and mice use a dedicated receiver. If you lost it the keyboard or mouse wouldn't work anymore. With a unifying keyboard and/or mouse, you can buy replacement receivers. You just need to pair the devices to the receiver.

One was the mouse driver but I will check your link and see if it may have an even newer driver. Though they didn't reference the mous or keyboard, there were 2 of the updates it recommended that referenced "Human Interface Devices." Please see the attachment and advise if you think I should update those drivers as well. I'm sorry it seems you have to click on the attachment to see it. Not sure why that is.

Just used your link above and it said it was updating the Receiver's Firmware. Hopefully that helps. Thanks again.
