Why even i have the defender option all off.
Always re-enable itself and mostly the real-time protection??

And it need to run other program like defender control 2.1 to total disable without re-enable itself????
There isn't any other way without install any program?

A new tool called 'Defendnot' can permanently disable Microsoft Defender on Windows devices by registering a fake antivirus product, even when no real AV is installed.

Hmmmm....

GitHub - es3n1n/defendnot: An even funnier way to disable windows defender. (through WSC api)
Needs to stay on disk:
To keep the AV registration persistent after reboot, defendnot adds itself to autorun. That means the binaries have to remain on your system for the Defender "disable" to stick. (Yeah, I wish it were more elegant too.)

Windows 11 updates disable defendnot · Issue #35 · es3n1n/defendnot
Just wanted to report that today Windows Update downloaded the May cumulative update for Windows 11 and suddenly I got a notification from Defender it had successfully removed a "malware"... i.e. it removed defendnot. So I guess Windows updates start Defender even if it has been disabled?

Most likely, more people are being misled via social engineering to turn it off than there are people trying to turn it off legitimately. And/or for the latter group, there are workarounds like the other comments suggested.
