Ps is a pita.
I can just about manage basic commands and simple batch files. Now they expect us to do something different with ps and net bloatwork.

It's a trade-off. Things that are impossible with batch or WSH are simple with PowerShell, and things that are simple in batch/WSH are excruciating with PS.

Many years ago, I taught myself Commodore Basic, and I even wrote commercial programs in it.
Then I went to IBM Compatibles, and I swore I'd never learn IBM Basic, and I didn't.
But again, I self taught in the DOS Batch Language, but never got overly proficient at it. Just enough to have some fun with it.

Now, we've got the Power Shell. Again, I swear, I'll never learn it. Too much like Klingon for my taste. "Kaplah!"
But when someone who knows it, gives me a command in PS that works, I'll use it.
Thanks for all the help in that last quest of mine. The new command works great in my "Cleanup.bat" program.
And yes, the PS command takes out sub-directories, whereas the generic batch command does not.

I'm now a happy camper!
