Delete Windows 11 Update without logging in (from Boot)

Hey together!

Getting overflooded with Bluescreens as soon as I start my PC. I need get somewhere, where it's possible to erase the last Update.

Can't start with RE or Safe Mode

Please help

You need a Windows USB to boot from. At Setup screen press SHIFT+F10 to open a Command Prompt and use the appropriate commands to navigate to the relevant folder and delete the contents. I don't remember the exact name, but is a folder "downloaded... something" in the Windows folder. I am not sure if you can just execute the explorer command to load File Explorer and do it from there.

I regretfully deny, it appears to be inevitable avoiding these bluescreens. Chances reaching the desktop are 1 in 50 tries

The cause could be a driver or an application that loads at startup. If you are lucky enough to have System Restore enabled, maybe there is a Restore Point you can go back to and fix the issue.

If you have access to another computer you can download a Linux ISO or even better a WinPE ISO and create a bootable USB flash drive to boot your computer, diagnose and try to fix it. I would check RAM first, then disk health. A good WinPE ISO is Sergei Strelec's WinPE here: WinPE 10-8 Sergei Strelec English » Sergei Strelec To create the USB from the ISO use Rufus or other utility.

I managed to secure my data and try to reinstall Windows. Alas, I get a bluescreen during Windows installation 🤢

It sounds like Windows Setup is trying to download some updates or drivers during installation and fails. Try the installation again without connecting the LAN cable, so Windows Update cannot interfere. After a successful installation you can install any drivers and updates.

The C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution is the folder where the updates are downloaded for installation.
Once the update is installed it makes part of the OS. I don't think you can uninstall it from outside, using Win PE or Linux.
If you can boot into Windows and know the KB number, you can run as administrator
wusa /uninstall /kb:nnnnnnn /quiet (replace the nnnnnnn by the kb number)
If you can't boot a Win 10 installation drive, the issue isn't the update file, but is a hardware issue.

If you force restart 3-4 times (just press reset button before Windows fully load) you get the Troubleshooting screen. Select Troubleshoot to see some options. There are two options to uninstall latest update. However they never worked for me. If the update is not installed yet and Windows keeps trying to install it, simply delete the contents of the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder and disconnect from the internet (remove LAN cable or switch off WiFi), so it won't be downloaded again before you can successfully login to Windows. After that you may connect to the internet and search for updates.

Won't work! Them bluescreens keep acomin' . By now my main task is to find out, what's wrong with my CPU

Any clue how to do that without logging in?

Use Rufus or other utility to create a bootable USB flash drive: Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way Booting your computer from the USB you see a list of options. One of them is MemTest to check RAM. Do that first, then restart and select Strelec for booting in Windows for further diagnosis and repair.
