Dell Inspiron 3511 Touchpad Unresponsive After USB Mouse Connection

Laptop: Dell Inspiron 3511
Issue: Touchpad becomes mostly unresponsive after connecting a USB mouse.

Symptoms:
- Touchpad sometimes moves the cursor, but mostly unresponsive.
- Touchpad buttons work normally.
- Problem persists even after the USB mouse is disconnected.

Steps already tried:
1. Verified touchpad hardware is functional.
2. Checked Device Manager; driver shows installed.
3. Reinstalled/updated Dell touchpad drivers.
4. Checked Windows Updates; system fully updated.
5. Ensured touchpad is enabled in Settings → Devices → Touchpad.
6. Disabled external mouse to rule out conflict.
7. Ran Windows Troubleshooter → Hardware and Devices.
8. Restarted Windows Explorer.
9. Checked BIOS settings; touchpad enabled/Advanced.
10. Performed clean boot to rule out software conflicts.
11. USB Selective Suspend disabling worked once, but its not.

Note:
After clean installing Windows again, it works normally, until the USB mouse is connected.

Looking for guidance on why the touchpad becomes mostly unresponsive after USB mouse use and how to fix it.

I have the same Inspiron 15 3511 Look around,

It's the last I could think of, I run a USB mouse.

Does the Touchpad go back to Normal when you remove the USB mouse ? Wireless or wired?

I'm stuck without a service tag number, (Don't put it on here.) because its scanning my mouse touchpad look at the links & scroll down for more touchpad info.... post back & let us know please.....
