Hi,

How do you experts rate this Dell wireless keyboard mouse combo for normal office work.......

vs. Logitech MX keys KB and MX Master 3 mouse.....any pros of that? Am not into graphic designing, video editing or a gamer.....

Thanks.

I would need a stand similar for any wireless KB mouse for display not to go too far... Correct?

Any other stands you experts would suggest?

Thanks.

I can't comment on the Dell unit you describe. But I use this combo mouse/keyboard: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Keyboard-Mouse-Combo/dp/B07SD98VP7.

On my radio desk, the keyboard is right in front of me and can be pushed under a shelf, out of the way. The monitor is off to the left. The mouse can travel anywhere on my desk. When I am done using it, I set the computer (HP Pavilion, W10 desktop) to sleep. Then I turn off the mouse and keyboard. When I want to work again, I just turn them both on and hit the escape key or click the mouse. It all comes up ready to go. I never had any issues with it and it was just plug and play.

Thanks for the link and suggestion. Appreciate it. I'll have a detailed look at it's specs.

In my experience Dell make good hardware, I have, for many years and still do use a Dell laptop (Currently an XPS17)
I use this laptop and my desktop with A Logi MX Master3 and MXkeys with the Laptop and my Desktop utilising the Logi Flow system, which makes the Laptop screen act as a third screen to the Desktop, with automatic switching between the two systems - Move the mouse to the edge of your screen and it, (and the keyboard ), seamlessly switch to the other system and screen

The dell hardware you mention will I'm sure serve you well for basic and not so basic tasks however the Logi hardware is on a different level - I find the MX series to "Fit My Hands" better than any previous options I've used ( although have been using Logi for a long time - I have MX Master, Master 2S, and MX master 3 Mice plus older pre MX master series and Trackballs (I find the trackball useful when travelling with the Laptop where Mousing space can be limited the old M570 trackball or my current MX Ergo Plus are good to use.

The main issue with Logi hardware is of course Cost, they are not cheap, but do last a long time so can give better Value that initially cheaper seeming as the Logi last a long time in heavy use

There are copies online ,[at Amazon], for both the Logi and Dell styles of mouse and keyboards that may be a cheaper option than either I have an old full aluminium Bluetooth Illuminated keyboard that looks like an almost exact copy of the Dell but is cheaper and very hard wearing - I still use it occasionally when using Android tablets

I do a lot of Photo editing and although the mouse is connected I switch to a Wacom pen tablet for the precision it gives me

Thanks @barman58 for the detailed reply. Best place to get the original Logitech devices?

I am a long term Prime member so use Amazon for most of my hardware, but as Logi is so hard wearing you may be able to save costs on sites like Ebay for old stock or even previously owned

Thanks again, I never intend saving on tech. stuff, always purchase brand new for a peace of mind. I'm just confused between the 2 (though I feel Dell would serve my purpose, previously got several Logitech laser KB mouse combo from Dell hardly ever used them, didn't like the mechanical keys, ,mouse isn't bad but good for gaming, with numerous functions), and which ever I get next issue would be get a decent stand......

Frankly I like the Dell Key board with soft noiseless keys and Logi MX3 mouse, but sadly Dell doesn't sell it separately.

Best regards!

Would you prefer KM7321 OR KM 7210?

Thanks.
I chose KM7210 because I wanted a compact keyboard. This is a matter of personal preference though and depends upon your use as well.

I chose KM7210 because I wanted a compact keyboard. This is a matter of personal preference though and depends upon your use as well.

Thanks again. I had a feeling that probably would be the reply :)

Best regards!

Apologize for my ignorance, what does the blue numerals indicate and which would you prefer for my 2 Dell devices, laptop and desktop? Funds are no issue, its the comfort I am looking for....

Thanks again!
I cannot tell what you prefer, I only know my own preferences....

All specifications (the blue numerals) are on Dell's website:
