Desktop computer

My first computer was an Intel 8088 (aka IBM XT clone) without a soundcard. So when I upgraded to an Intel Pentium 150MHz with 2MB graphics card and a Creative SoundBlaster AWE 32, I was in heaven. I could at last play all these games with best graphics and with realistic sound! I can still play them thanks to DosBox.

So, the new desktop computer mentioned above doesn't have a green jack on the back? Why is that? Does anyone know?
Golden rule , my friend ..........always research your product specs and manual online before purchase , to check if it aligns with requirements.

Well, it doesn't have a rear green speakers output, but as far as I understand it has a combined front speakers output and mic in. If connecting your headphones there doesn't work, you might need a splitter that plugs into the combined port and splits it in separate speakers output and mic in. But first check your monitor. If it is connected via HDMI, then most likely the sound goes out from the monitor, not the computer. In that case you must connect your headphones to the sound output of the monitor.
