I've been seeing this for a while.

Would this relate to a setting I should have turned on in the BIOS?

Do I even need it, as this machine is used mostly for audio and is working OK?

From what I could read, the software device role is to optimize gaming.
I would still right click on the failing device and choose Uninstall device.
Then, back on the menu, Action, Scan for Hardware changes.
See what that does.

Update or reinstall the driver: Download the latest version of the Intel Application Optimization and chipset driver from the official website.
"Intel's unified driver package for Core Ultra processors has received a new update for Windows 11. Version 26.08.100.3 now enables Application Optimization on systems with AVX instructions disabled, updates game profiles, and eliminates increased CPU load from the Innovation Platform Framework."

I think that's where I got it from, but either a setting in my bios isn't set for it, or there is something it doesn't like about my system
