Dialogue Boxes Open Too Small

Windows 11 Home
Greetings...

I am finding dialogue boxes will not automatically expand to a usable size when opened.

When opening dialogue boxes in Windows 11:

1. They open too small by default
2. They will not persistently remember their window size

This behavior never seemed to exist in previous Windows OS's. It is frustrating to constantly manually enlarge the boxes.

I have looked for any resolution to this, but have found none, no registry hacks or third-party utilities seem to exist for this issue, either.

Is there a fix to this issue? It seems Microsoft has changed dialogue box behavior.

I already know how to enlarge boxes by various manual methods, what I am looking for is how to restore the way previous Windows editions automatically behaved with the size of
such boxes.

Thanks for any constructive responses.

In what area do you see the issue? File Explorer does have a problem when clicking the 3 dots on the toolbar in the box opening too far up, have to click the title bar and drag part-way done to see it all. First click the middle icon upper right corner to reduce the size of the window.

This problem is still applied today 25/5/26. Apparently it is a problem with Microsoft programming. Larger screens make it impossible to work.
There are a couple of apps that you can change text size ( in dialogue coxes, not "everything" but they are not a complete fix :( After 3 yrs of trying I just use windows magnifier, it saves a lot of hassle. :):)

That seems rather impossible to me as it is 25/4/26 this day!

BTW. If you post something to a very old thread, the least you can do is reading the answers until now.
This was clearly said as first answer:

But the OP never reacted anymore. He did not even look here after 02/03/2025.
