Diff pc but still no log-in on X


I've been doing a bit of snooping around..., there seems to be a lot of Noise on the web about this Twitter lockout bullsh*t!
The consensus seems to be that Twitter wants you to install the app on your phone as it's more lucrative for them to track you via a mobile device!

I see you have 3 options:
• buy a phone,
• tell Twitter to stick it where the sun don't shine, or,
• trick the site into thinking you're on a phone by switching the Chrome User Agent String!

Well, that's a hell of a note -- so others are experiencing this -- what a flim flam group. I still don't get why you are able to use ShareX successfully and I do all the right stuff and still can't get there. That's very puzzling.

Cuz I'm still able to log in..., I tried to invoke a QR Code but can't get it!

I'd be interested to see if you get in by changing the User Agent in Chrome!

I'll try if you tell me how to do it. Haven't a clue as to what that is.

  • Bypass restrictions: Some websites restrict access based on the user agent. Changing it can help you bypass these restrictions and access content that would be unavailable otherwise.

    Checked out user agents -- found the above sentence interesting - maybe that will get me in. Or maybe I'll be in waaaay over my head doing this stuff.
