Why am I only getting about 3 megabytes per second download speed when downloading the original Windows 11 ISO file directly from Microsoft even though I have Xfinity 1.2 Gigabit Internet Service?

MS servers are overloaded, Windows 11 release and patch Tuesday on top of it. I get only 12MB/s now.

Mine was set to upload and download to & from others on the internet so ms torrent is alive and well not defaulting to just my local networks as 10 :D

Took a bit for me to download W11 RTM, but it wasn`t to long, less than 10 minutes if I recall. Anything can bog it down with a million people downloading W11.

Did you check your Ethernet Duplex speed ?

Is it at least 1.0 Gbps ?

I just switched to my Realtek Ethernet port which is 2.5Gbps, regardless of what I actually pay for and get.
