where can I find the newest Version I think it's 16.x something Ftpm for MSI X670 TOMHAWK compatible connector. is there universal one of I need specific motherboard one? because the one I have on mobo is old and causing stuttering

because when I have it enabled nothing feels smooth.
But this is not my issue, I just want the Ftpm hardware with the newest version. the ones come with amd cpu is old like 8-9 or something I can't remember, newest is 16 so it's a big different
I just want to know if there is universal one or I need motherboard specific from aliexpress

What is the 'stuttering'? The earliest online reviews I found about the board were from 2022 but there may have been earlier I didn't find. I was curious because of the fTMP, some reading:.

The latest I've done with TPM was inserting a module in a Gigabyte motherboard to get Win11 rather than the church have to buy a new computer yet.

I just use fTPM rather than a discrete TPM module. I've had zero problems with fTPM.
With the discrete TPM module removed, and using fTPM instead... if you still see stuttering, then it's NOT caused by your discrete TPM module.

This is from your motherboard manual... on the "Boot" tab.

If you absolutely insist on using a discrete TPM module... I would look for it, where ever you got the previous one.

That's what I am trying to get help with, finding one, I don't know how to get it. There is no testing to do, There is issue with AMD CPU fTPM, I am not sure if you notice or not, but there is one. I just want to have an option if I need one, because I don't use bitlocker anyway but maybe windows 12 will must without passing it.

Just so we're on the same page...

There's two kinds of TPM...
1. a discrete module, which is a tiny circuit board that plugs into the motherboard
Various discrete TPM modules for MSI motherboards
2. and "firmware" TPM (fTPM), which is part of the CPU.

As far as I know... the only way to update firmware TPM (fTPM), is to update the BIOS.
The newest (non-beta) BIOS version for your MSI motherboard is: 7E12v1H ...released March 26th 2025

As for the discrete TPM modules, I don't think they even have... versions.



On top of all that... I don't even think TPM of either kind can cause "stuttering".
It would help if you explained exactly what "stuttering" you are experiencing.

In other words... "what" is stuttering?
Windows itself? Your display? Your audio? What?

Well they do, because the CPU has one and firmware doesn't update it and didn't since the start, also on the Intel 12700k it didn't. Also there are Server Ftpm for maximum performance but we leave that at that, I only need one that I can switch around other motherboard, so I just ask is there universal one or motherboard specific. If you don't now the stuttering that I can't really explain it it's been talked about many other places. It still is a device and every device with a driver can cause stuttering even if it's 0.2ms

No.
Even the ones for just the MSI AMD boards, don't even have the same pin numbers.

As for the stuttering... we need to know what is doing the stuttering.
It doesn't really help to know what stuttering others have seen.
We need to know what stuttering YOU have seen on your computer.
