Hello everyone,
With reference to the link Batch files for use in BSOD debugging - Windows 10 Help Forums
With help of Gemini AI, I have modified the batch file DiskInfo.bat to work in WinPE environment of Windows 11 boot media as well as in Live OS from command prompt run as administrator.
This is to identify each external and internal HDD/SSD attached to pc/laptop with all partitions in each drive.
1.Just place DiskPartInfo.bat in root FAT32 partition of Windows 11 boot media. Boot from this boot drive and press Shift+F10 at first screen to enter into command prompt.
2. Run Diskpart from command prompt to know drive letter of boot drive FAT32 partition. And then run DiskPartInfo.bat from boot usb drive letter of FAT32 partition.
3. If the code of DiskPartInfo.bat is opened in Notepad, please save the code in ANSI encoding with All Files selected. I have attacthed the batch file below. Log file shows all partitions of each internal and external drives attached to my laptop.
