Windows 11
My laptop is Acer Nitro AN515-52 (2018)

so today my laptop suddenly restarted itself, then it was using the intel gpu instead of Nvidia for display?
this is the first time it happened to me
Any fix?
Now the GPU activity panel is showing that- this gpu is not connected to any display?
I tried reinstalling both graphics drivers, still the same thing!!

Is there a setting in the BIOS that may have been changed and turned off the NVIDIA graphics?

This is normal behavior by design on laptops with dual graphics. You actually want to use the Intel graphics as much as possible to conserve power. Once you run a 3d app you want it to be configured to use the more powerful nVidia card. You can do this in nVidia control panel and configure each app separately.

Perhaps the crash corrupted your display drivers.
There's no test for this, just reinstall both the Intel & the Nvidia display drivers then see if the problem still exists.

Best of luck,
Denis
