New Acer Laptop.. Volume ??

Have a New Acer Laptop.. Just noticed recently Volume issues.. Volume is low but the Volume indicator is cranked right up there.. What could it be , Can I adjust elsewhere ?? Thoughts & Opinions Appreciated.. Cheers Thanks

Picnok, Try changing the default sound output from speakers to headphones ( settings at end of volume bar).

Just about every Laptop has an Audio Overlay App, like DTS, Nahimic, etc.
Sometimes updates to those may reset them to defaults. They may come through the manufacturers update App or Windows updates.
Have a look thru those App settings and adjust them. Volume levelling/stabilisation/equalisation is generally the only useful function.

Headphones are far better quality. the volume level using mine are around the 12-14% mark.
Laptop speakers in general are pathetic, small in a thin box do not expect much from those.

A few weeks back I had gotten a Notice I could Upgrade from 23H2 to 24H2 which I Downloaded.. But now and I'm not sure if this could be the source of Loosing the Volume not as strong as it was .. Would like to know how I can ReSet it ?? I have an Acer Laptop.. Thoughts Opinions Appreciated, Cheers Thanks
