Does anyone use Adobe Lightroom and use Windows 11? Performance and Lag Issues

@zbook: I must also add that when the computer goes into sleep mode and when I wake it, it gets stuck and displays no screen on the monitor. The screen is just black with a high pitched fan noise.

I'm using my System One listed in "My Computers" below. It has 32GB memory.
Like you, I'm using Adobe Lightroom CC subscription.

I'm watching my memory usage in Task Manager.
When I first boot up before doing anything, I'm using 8.6GB of memory.
When I load Lightroom CC subscription, I'm now using 10.8GB memory.
When I load my first raw image to the Development Module, I'm now using 11.4GB of memory.

Your problem is having only 8GB of memory. Whenever you do anything, with only 8GB of memory, your system must swap memory in and out with your SSD. You are trying to run Lightroom CC at the speed of your SSD instead of the speed of memory.

Bite the bullet and put 32GB of quality, fast, memory in your system.

@TraderGary: I have already decided to do it. But I will have to do buy the memory when I get paid. Do you know what memory I should buy for this PC? The only accurate and best advice given was from Memory Stock. Crucial was good, but my system did not pick up on the scanner on what memory to buy at Crucial's website. Looking forward to your help on the Memory I should buy this computer. Thanks!

I cannot give you advice on what or where to buy as I always buy computers with the amount of memory I need. If I were you, I would take the advice of your computer maker or the advice of a quality seller. I would want a guarantee that the memory will work with a full return guarantee if it doesn't.

If money is tight, you might consider starting with 16GB of memory and see how that works for you. Remember that you always want to match make and speed of memory. Mismatching memory only causes problems or doesn't work at all.

Amazon is a good suggestion.
I like to buy from Amazon as they have a full money back guarantee on anything they sell.

BTW, my system below with 32GB memory runs fast and is smooth as butter.
