The decision to update to Pro really depends on your needs.
Pro adds features like:
1) Group Policy Editor (but key items one tend to use like disabling lockscreen can be done with regedits)
2) RDP as a server (you can connect to remote PCs that have Pro on guest). You cannot connect to a remote Home PC. So if you want to connect to your PC remotely using RDP, you need Pro. However plenty of 3rd party tools like Teamviewer that work on Home.
3) Hyper-V - ability to run Hyper-V virtual machines (plenty of 3rd party VM tools like virtualbox, vmware)
4) Full Bitlocker (however with W11 and TPM, you can encrypt drives on Home - not quite as flexible but just as secure)
5) More control over updates (this is less so significant as it used to be as even on Home, feature updates are optional now). Even though security updates can be deferred, it is just not a good idea to do so.
In the end, for most users Home is adequate. My advice is stick with Home, unless you find you really need Pro - you can always upgrade later.
