Driver Update history missing

Strange thing happened, I reinstalled Windows 11 25H2 freshly.
I always use GPEDIT to disable automatic updates and always ensure that drivers are never included in the WU.

I would manually install each driver from my motherboard repository, and the driver history would show in Settings > Windows Updates.
I installed the first 8 motherboard drivers after rebooting as usual in between each required. I noticed that this time, windows did not show a history of installed driver updates and it also failed to "auto install" the intel management engine driver which it always did in the past.

I rebooted once more, and manually installed the ME driver from the repository and it shows up in the driver history - but none of the other ones still.

The drivers are installed, as per device manager not showing any exclamation marks so I am confused why the sudden change in lack of update history?

Puzzled- why would you expect any history reference in Windows Update to something not installed by that route?
