Check the box "Force Deletion" then click on the "Delete Driver(s)" button

INSTALL

Launch "Install.cmd" by right-click Run as admin > "Next" > The installer will ask you to restart your PC > "Finish"
Go in "Apps" folder > Install your apps from the Microsoft Store shortcuts

UPDATE

Launch "Update.cmd" by right-click Run as admin > Restart your PC when the command prompt window disappears

OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements (AMD) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME/ProArt motherboards with AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/8xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).
Hardware requirements (Intel) : ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME/ProArt motherboards with Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx series chipsets (except ROG with ALC40xx).

Note : In order to know which drivers package to use, match the audio specifications of your motherboard with the apps or ask me.


TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you experience crackling, popping, audio stutter
Disable hibernation (Fast Startup included).

Thanks for the meticulous inventory of up to date drivers!

I've never been able to get the Realtek Audio Console (MS store app) to launch when using your driver packs. "Can not connect to RPC service". Do not have this issue with the github generic UAD project or the AAF driver pack. Any ideas? This on a Asus PRIME Z790-A WIFI using 5 channel analog output on the S1220A. Realtek console version is 1.41.288.0

Hi,

Please, don't mix the unlegit non-WHQL/cracked/modded drivers (from pal1000 or AAF for example) & the legit WHQL drivers packages from your motherboard support page or my thread.

You have an ASUS PRIME DTS:X Ultra motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTSX Ultra) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Also, if your "Can not connect to RPC service" issue persists :

- Press Windows key + X > Task Manager :

- Startup tab : Check that Realtek HD Audio Universal Service is Enabled.
- Services tab : Check that DcomLaunch, RpcEptMapper & RtkAudioUniversalService services running.​

- Right click on your Realtek Audio Control/Console app icon > App settings > Reset
- Restart your PC.​

Thanks, using the DTSX Ultra version of your package installed fine and the console installs from your store app link. My issue with DTSX Ultra is that it effectively does nothing on a analog multichannel output; it disables all EQ features and just gives an indication that it is active and "this feature is automatically configured in multi-channel output mode". I was hoping I could use your vanilla "ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME RTK" package instead because I actually prefer the built-in Realtek Console EQ and loudness controls that get hidden with the DTSX version. Are these features able to turn on with a registry fix or similar?

My issue with DTSX Ultra is that it effectively does nothing on a analog multichannel output; it disables all EQ features and just gives an indication that it is active and "this feature is automatically configured in multi-channel output mode". I was hoping I could use your vanilla "ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME RTK" package instead because I actually prefer the built-in Realtek Console EQ and loudness controls that get hidden with the DTSX version. Are these features able to turn on with a registry fix or similar?

You cannot choose a drivers package type, each drivers package type is dedicated to each motherboards type.

I gave up trying to get the Realtek audio driver working on my ASRock Z490 Phantom Gaming 4/ax motherboard. The only driver I can get working is the HD audio device driver even though MS says that installing this driver is not recommended.

However, if your Third Party app (DTS:X Ultra app in your case) is uninstalled, the equalization should be done via Realtek Audio Control/Console app. This is also the case for all Third Party apps using an APO (SS3, DTS:X Ultra, DTS Audio Processing, DTS Headphone:X v1 etc.), with regard to ASUS products anyway.

So installing the DTSX Ultra version and making sure DTSX app is uninstalled, I still do not get the realtek console to display its EQ and loudness control. The impression that I get reading multiple accounts on microsoft answers is that this is by design as Realtek does not want to have two competing EQs active at once and deliberately disables internal EQ/loudness adjustments. Because DTS:X Ultra does absolutely nothing when active with my analog multichannel configuration and does not allow any adjustment, I need resort to the 'unlegit' cracked drivers because they are able to get the controls I want.

I realized regurlarly occuring problems with Sonic Studio III not starting/hanging/giving error code - I was able to solve for the moment by deactivating the Windows Fast Startup. Don't know why this is - but problem is gone. I would like to understand.

Hi,

It is by design, it's intended to work like this at least for ASUS products : If an third party app is built-in, the equalization is done via the third party app.

Hi,

If you have an ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard or an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard, and you have an issue with SS3 that your CLEANUP process does not fix, follow this :

- Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process
- Use this SS3 Cleaner tool (Right click on "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe" > Run as administrator) then restart your PC : Link
- Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process​

For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Note : Fast Startup (and more generally, Hibernation) can generate all types of side effects, for all your devices, not just audio. For a DIY PC (Do It Yourself), if your system OS is on NVMe SSD I advise you to disable hibernation as soon as Windows is installed (process listed at the bottom of all my audio drivers threads, in the TIPS category), this will prevent you from losing hours of sleep on issues whose root cause is Fast Startup/Hibernation.

I noticed that on Windows 10 first came out, that fast start up fubarred UAD drivers or the apps at least, among other things.
So I disabled it. hibernation, and sleep(with an M.2 regular start up is fast enough;-)).
Later I found out that it may be due the different system clock timers getting their ticks messed up because of fast start up.
