You cannot do that - Edge is managed by your organisation??? What the heck is that? and how do I get rid???

If you're asking 'how do you get rid of Edge' then that's my favourite subject!

In the UK you do not have the option to uninstall Edge, it's greyed out. I uninstalled Edge by changing my Region to Ireland as it's an EU Country but it involves resetting your PC using in my case, the Out of Box Experience method and selecting a different Region during the setup process. You can use 3rd Party Tools, but then you take the risk associated with them. Then you can exercise rights under the EU Digital Markets Act and nuke Edge safely just by pressing the uninstall button if that's what you want to do. No, it doesn't break anything as some contributors might suggest. MS are not allowed to purposely break the OS for EU users. Sure, certain Apps may not work but if you can live with that then you'll get rid of around 3.5gb of program occupying your drive.

How do I remove "managed by your organization" in Edge settings when my PC is owned only by me and not part of an organization?

I found policies and went to link and did regedit nd used all four samples. one reported worked, so assume all done????
