For the last few days the location at the top left has been incorrect (hundreds of miles out) when I open a new tab. If I scroll the page just 1 click then the location jumps to the correct place.
Refreshing the page brings the incorrect one back again and as before, scrolling jumps to the correct spot.
I've tried different page settings (inspirational, focused and so on) and all are the same.
Tried on a different PC altogether and the exactly the same thing happens.
Just tried that and no change I'm afraid. Its odd because its not specific to a single PC. My older laptop is doing the same.
The location as shown in the lower left 'Widgets' on the taskbar is correct. My location in 'Maps' is correct as well. It is always 'Hinckley' showing as the incorrect location.
Hopefully a final update on this. I'm now finding it is working correctly on both PC's. The only thing that has happened is that my router (a BT Smart Hub 2) has done one of its 'scheduled' restarts. Whether that could have any bearing on the matter I have no idea. No other location specific apps were affected.
I did also report it using the Feedback option in Edge but doubt if anything changed there.
