Solved Edifier queries/config?

I wouldn't bother with the phone, unless you've got some high end audio files on your phone, or, you're streaming some high end audio off your phone, and just need to connect that way...,
too much junk hangin off the bottom of the phone..., move it a bit and it comes loose, loses the connection, not to mention having to hook up and unhook all that junk every time..., p-i-t-a really!

I would just use the Phone Link app, should be sufficient.

You're right that am vacillating. The original thread started with how to configure Edifier. Than like BT and less treble. I had no clue than what DAC was. With my other Dell XPS laptop has enough audio not requiring ext speakers. Now with a bit of knowledge of DAC, I'm in search of something with a decent bitrate and high sampling. I would prefer purchasing such a DAC in USB form vs. another large device.

The information on DAC, and USB DACs was posted, you just need to use it. The videos are just one aspect, but there's also the more Indepth reading material. You asked me if I checked out a link you provided, I would ask the same of you.

And for the record my DAC is USB. Anyway, I wish you luck on whatever you decide.

Is it possible to unpair Edifier from BT (without affecting their performance), since I am using them as wired and would you recommend it. My intention is to keep the BT available for other accessories.
IF yes care to explain.

I can't answer those questions because I don't use Edifier speakers nor do I use a BT speaker setup. With that I have to ask... didn't those speakers come with instructions?

As for performance, some things you will have to experience for yourself to determine what works best for your given situation.

I'll check the booklet that came along if it has instruction about unpairing. But I doubt it has instructions about unpairing, has for pairing I think. (I need to unpair for my new accessories like keyboard, mouse etc.)

Just checked no unpairing instructions. Possibly some other member using Edifiers would be able to share their expert input.

If any entry persists in device manager after unpairing through settings, with regards to Edifier should be removed manually correct?

So you're talking about removing a driver now? This is not necessary for unpairing a BT device at all.

Needed to add my new keyboard, mouse, and other accessories.

Additionally the wood expert is here to make a custom table and a flexible chair.

Remove from in setting > Bluetooth> Paired...unpair them? Keep using as wired?

BT of the laptop would be free to connect any other device?
