Reference:

You must be signed in as an administrator to enable or disable screen edge swipe.

Unfortunately, I was hoping this would disable the edge swipe from the touchpad as well, which is where I'm having issue as it's a tiny touchpad and I keep minimizing everything.

Is there an equivalent regedit for the touchpad? I don't seem to have 'touchpad' in the settings so I can't enable or disable any gestures.
(it's a Chuwi Hi10 XR 10inch tablet with keyboard)

Actually, it looks like the touchpad behaves as a mouse, and the edge commands are sent as keystrokes!

This fixed it:
"
The only way I've found to defeat these is to override the shortcut key combos themselves by setting up an "AutoHotKey" script (search for autohotkey if youre not sure what this is) putting this in the script should stop this behaviour, but still allow touchscreen gestures to work:

#d::return
#a::return
#tab::return
#b::return
"

Hey again Brink! Sorry, I'm confused here...so, to "Disable" this setting, via GPO, we have to set it to "Enabled"? Sorry, am I just reading this wrong or is the screenshot simply wrong in the write-up? It looks like the registry files are accurate, as compared to the GPO setting.

Hello,
I have tried both ways and it won't stick. I am using a wireless keyboard that has a mouse pad and the side swipe is still present after rebooting.
Any suggestions?

Hello, and welcome. :alien:

I'm afraid this only affects swiping from the edge on the physical touchscreen instead.

You might check your mouse pad settings to see if there may be a setting to disable this.

Huge thank you to Brink! I used the REG file method, restarted, and it's fixed for me.
This issue has been driving me insane for a long time, I tried a jillion other things from across the web, this was the first one that worked. You have my infinite thanks! :thumbsup:
