This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off discover widgets for showing widget suggestions on the lock screen for your account in Windows 11.
You can stay informed and efficient with dynamic updates that bring weather, finance, sports, traffic, and app notifications with widgets on your lock screen.
Starting with Windows 11 build 26120.4741 (Beta 24H2) and build 26200.5710 (Dev 25H2), Microsoft is updating lock screen widgets experience for Windows Insiders in the Beta and Dev Channels with widget suggestions to help you easily discover more widgets. Please note this experience is still being refined and will change in future flights.
Discover widgets will periodically update the lock screen with suggested widgets.
EXAMPLE: Widgets on lock screen (Win+L)
Here's How:
1 Open Settings (Win+I).
2 Click/tap on Personalization on the left side, and click/tap on Lock screen on the right side under. (see screenshot below)
3 Turn On (default) or Off Discover widgets for what you want. (see screenshots below)
