This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off discover widgets for showing widget suggestions on the lock screen for your account in Windows 11.
You can stay informed and efficient with dynamic updates that bring weather, finance, sports, traffic, and app notifications with widgets on your lock screen.
Starting with Windows 11 build 26120.4741 (Beta 24H2), build 26200.5710 (Dev 25H2), and build 27982.1 (Canary), Microsoft is updating lock screen widgets experience for Windows Insiders in the Beta and Dev Channels with widget suggestions to help you easily discover more widgets. Please note this experience is still being refined and will change in future flights.
When the Suggest widgets for your lock screen is turned on, it will periodically update the lock screen with suggested widgets to add.

EXAMPLE: Widgets on lock screen (Win+L)
1 Open Settings (Win+I).
2 Click/tap on Personalization on the left side, and click/tap on Lock screen on the right side under. (see screenshot below)
3 Turn On (default) or Off Suggest widgets for your lock screen for what you want. (see screenshot below)
1 Do step 2 (on) or step 3 (off) below for what you want.
2 Turn On Widget Suggestions on Lock Screen
This is the default setting.
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 4 below.

"LockScreenWidgetsSystemCurationEnabled"=dword:000000004 Save the .reg file to your desktop.
5 If you have Smart App Control turned on, you will need to unblock the downloaded REG file.
6 Double click/tap on the downloaded .reg file to merge it.
7 When prompted, click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK to approve the merge.
8 You can now delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.
