This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable showing the Windows welcome experience for your account in Windows 11.

The Windows welcome experience will show after updates and occasionally when you sign in to highlight what's new and suggested.

  • Option Two: Enable or Disable Windows Welcome Experience using REG file

Option One

Enable or Disable Windows Welcome Experience in Settings

1 Open Settings (Win+I).

2 Click/tap on System on the left side, and click/tap on Notifications on the right side. (see screenshot below)

Open Notifications settings

Option One is not available on my Win 11 Pro 22000.527 PC. "Show me the Windows welcome experience after updates and occasionally when I sign in to highlight what’s new and suggested" is not there. The other two notification options on Offer suggestions and Get tips are still present.
I wonder if Microsoft has also negated the Registry Tweak? Anybody had recent experience?

Confirmed.

I've applied the registry tweak and have NOT seen the Windows Welcome Experience after applying numerous updates

Interesting. I could have sworn it was there before in the public builds.

It is currently in the Insider build 22563.
