I had a look around malwarebytes forum for a similar issue.
Seriously, I’d sooner reload an image of my PC or even reinstall Windows before I went through any of this. Let alone the communication time (3 days for this issue)

Some users do not have that ability or the option.
If I encountered that, Macrium to the rescue.
it depends on how many experts are available and how well users follow directions.
Time zones are an issue as well.

Sure, I agree. But I also think that a user who isn’t savvy enough to know to create backups of their system (or techphobes), possibly would have no hope getting though all that without issues or just a failure to follow.
