I think there are better ways of dealing with wifi problems, can you describe your set-up and details of the stoppage?

Wifi gone on one computer

Two days ago, out of the blue, my wifi quit working on one HP computer. Two other HP's work fine. I did an HP diagnostics test on the wifi module and it failed. This computer is a year and a half old! Has anyone ever had to replace a wifi card, was it fairly easy and did it work? Was there ever...
