Hi. I have an nVme card on my motherboard with ONLY windows on it as my C: Drive. I have SSD's for D: and E: for other stuff. It used to boot up in less than 10 seconds. After my windows update last night in which it automatically closed down, My computer boots up slower than a ZX Spectrum taking 5 minutes. When it booted up, I got the message Windows didn't shut down properly. Can I force an update to happen again?I re-booted it and it is no better.

I had a similar issue; I reset my BIOS to its default settings, and everything returned to normal regarding startup—you can then adjust the settings to your own preference.
Best regards

Well resetting my BIOS is a foreign language to me. HOWEVER.

I installed a windows app game called 2D Mahjong. Over a long period of time I have a very hi score. When I installed it on my laptop, I had to start at zero, I could re-install windows with the lates windows flash drive download. But my score would go back to zero.

I have read on line that windows 2D Mahcong may store my score in
C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftMahjong_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\

However it goes on to say that AppData is hidden which it is. Can someone help me un-hide this and allow me to capture this data? If so I could do a simple re-install. OR you could tell me more about this re-setting my BIOS. Thanks.

To access the hidden file, open File Explorer, click on the three dots, then select Options, go to the View tab, check the box for "Show hidden files, folders, and drives," and then...

Thanks for that. I just need to back up this data and overwrite it after a full re-install. I never got around to buying Macrum reflect.
