Solved File Explorer Gallery won't open

It's alright. I'll have to deep search the forum to find a solution the next time the laptop stopped working.

Hope you have a useable working 3rd party disk image you can use to recreate your installation on a new disk.

If not, strongly recommended- start using 3rd party disk imaging from the earliest point after reinstalling Windows.

Note too: I was once warned of the first signs of a (data) disk failing when creating the next differential image of it, as the imaging program gave me a message about a CRC failure when trying to image it.

Will do that next time. If I have the money to buy a new SSD.

You'll need a large enough (HDD?) for your backup disk for image files of course too, as these must be saved off your PC somehow.

The busted SSD is an NVMe. I have an external drive for all my files, so I'm good.
