File Explorer showing multiple external drive when there is only one

trying to do a backup when I insert my external hard drive File explorer shows to drives when there is only one. I get halfway through back up and it fails says it lost the drive it has been backing up to for the past two hours. This has happened twice. Is there going to be an update or a troubleshooter come to fix this?

When you say that File Explorer is showing two drives. Perhaps you mean this, Mickey?

Can you Browse the external drive? Do you see any failed backup jobs?
What Backup software are you using? Or are you manually copy and pasting?>
If the drive was listed when the backup started, then the drive disappeared and is no longer accessible, than there is a problem with drive and it's connection.
Please post a screenshot of Disk Management.
