File Folder - Colours

I am glad to say that I'm back, new win 11 and seems a lot better. There is one thing I want to do, purely cosmetic, but I want it.

When I open file folders I get this sickly colour at the top, I want to change it to a darker, preferably green. I have checked personalise and file folder tips online. The only mention I found was to change the whole thing to black. Not what I want. Here is an image of my file explorer, - sick isnt it :wink:

I have just been looking at folders on my pc, nothing had changed. Web pages are great, I used a firefox add on.

Why do those color switches turn off and stay off when you switch from Dark to Light Mode and back???

Yeah, one site ?I looked at for help said switch it to dark, then ...... every page was total black no white bits - NOT what I wanted

What I would like to see is a reversal of the right click on the folders and remove that damned Show more options. The two most used switches are for me, Delete and rename, so they are hidden away.

Hi Ed, yes I am. The colour as I said somewhere is 'a puky creamy white'. I wanted a darker colour (green) to show up the controls better as with the original puke, the menu is almost invisible. But when I followed suggestions, including switch windows to dark (and everything, on all pages, went black) (except text) is not what I am trying to achieve.
