Hello,
Recently upgraded to Windows 11 Pro. Decided to quit using Norton 360 and I uninstalled if from Windows. Later also used NRnR program to remove as much as possible. Was able to delete everything except the FileShredder.dll located in Program File\Norton Utilities\x64 folder. The .dll indicates it is in use by a program. The properties of that .dll shows that it opens with "unknown application".
Suggestions requested
thanks

Hello and yes I did. No luck.
But while fiddling around, waiting on Norton Support, I found that I was able to move the .dll file to the desktop!! This let me delete the Norton Utilities folders. Did a reboot jic and the system allowed me to delete the .dll from the desktop.
Something about lucky when not good.
