Firefox tabs on the bottom?

I just "upgraded" from Win XP and Firefox 50 something to Win 11 and Firefox 100.
I had used either a registry change or Tab Mix Plus to place the tabs on the bottom of my screen below the content for as long as I've had a computer. I cannot figure out how to make this change now. I've googled and found lots of complaints but mostly they want the tabs below the search bar not at the bottom of the screen and no resolutions. I see Tab Mix Plus is on GitHub but the instructions are too technical for me, completely over my head. Is there any easy way to put my tabs back on the bottom?

Thanks but that puts them below the address bar but still at the top of the screen.
I want them at the bottom of the monitor screen right above the taskbar where I've had them for over 15 years.

You gotta jump through some hoops, but he is staying abreast of the situation. when Firefox updates and such.

Here is an easy way to do it.

If that is still complicated, let me know - I can walk you through it. I've got it installed and all the options are there, including my favorite open links in a new tab

Using Firefox 107.0.1 I am unable to find text for userChrome.css which is located in folder "chrome" in firefox profile folder that will work. The durn tabs are still at the top.
I have had this for years, but after a reinstall I can't make it wok now.

Also tried using userChromeJS but didn't locate anything there to solve this.

Does this mean that there currently is no code that will work with Firefox 107.0.1 ?

You can do it easy... the one I use is underlined in RED.
The one the OP wants is in the bottom section... underlined in BLUE.

I'm lazy, I just use Aris-T2 Chrome folder. The pic above is just a section of it.
To enable something just remove the /* and space, at the start of the line.
To disable... ADD the /* and space, at the start of the line.

All MY tweaks... look like this... (using the 4.20 Chrome folder)

All ya really do is put the Chrome folder in....

C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxx.default-release

...then in the userChrome.css file (in the Chrome folder)... just turn stuff on and off till you're happy.

Other people just make their own userChrome.css file and only put in the changes. But as I said... I'm lazy.

If you want to learn how to do it manually, just Google: userChrome.css tutorial
The tutorials are fairly old, so it's not very easy.

I have changed my userChrome.css file to read:

@import "./css/tabs/tabs_below_navigation_toolbar.css;" /**/

The tabs are STILL on top. What am I missing?

Download the Chrome 4.20.zip in the big Firefox post.

These are the file IN the Chrome folder (4.20)

1. Grab all the files except useChrome.css from the download and put them in your Chrome folder.
2. Then, you should be able to edit YOUR userChrome.css and it should work.

Keep in mind that you have to restart Firefox to see the changes.

Another option is just use the whole Chrome folder that's in the Chrome 4.20.zip download.

Why do i want to go to top of screen with my mouse then to the bottom for stuff on my taskbar and then back and forth, how stupid. So yeah just like in android I have a bomb browser where my tab bar is at the bottom, by my fingers where i can reach them . so annoying how this hasnt become the norm. I guess people love complicated UIs and doing more up down on their screens, maybe people think its like exercise..lol

In the top pic in post #11, it does say (in the Tabs on bottom section)...

Here's my whole Chrome folder (current). I just made sure that it's the same as the one on the Ten Forums post...
Looks like this (with all the other FF tweaks on the Ten Forums post...

I only changed those two lines (Top pic in post #11) (the one underlined in RED and in BLUE), to get the tabs all the way on the bottom.

The hard part is knowing what tweaks YOU have made to Firefox. A userChrome.css edit that might work for me, may have different results for you... depending on YOUR Firefox tweaks.

1. I have NO extensions (addons)
2. I'm not running any 3rd party programs in Windows that might affect Firefox.
3. I try to keep the first post in the topic on Ten Froums, up-to-date. (current with any changes I might make)

I can only tell you what works for me on MY system, with MY tweaks.

The easiest way I found for me, was to keep building on my previous tweaks and to keep a record of what I've done.
I have that topic on Ten Forums, and I also have a text file with more notes.

Actually, I keep the Firefox tweaks text file, and another for Win 10 tweaks, and a third for Win 11 tweaks.
And just in case I miss something, I keep Windows backups as well.

I really miss the days when all this BS wasn't necessary. ^^

Things are starting to get to be a pain...

All I really have to remember is... "do a tweak... add it to the tweaks folder".
I'm too old for this... shirt. And I know I'm just a young whipper-snapper compared to some of you.

Downloading the Chrome 4.20.zip in the big Firefox post, extracting the Chrome folder and copying it to my Firefox profile folder WORKED.

Like I said. I'm lazy that way.

All the other tweaks I've done to Firefox were in about:config, or on Firefox's Customize page.
And these (bottom of Customize page)...
