Solved Flickering cursor

I use a large arrow for my cursor. Recently it started flickering. It works fine, but the flickering is maddening.

I have never seen that. That is interesting - and annoying , I'm sure.
Have you tried changing that large arrow to something else and see if it still flickers?

That would be cool if it was a low battery indication but I doubt it.
My mouse flickers at its base when it's low on power.

You do not have any virus scan or something constantly running in the background do you?
Check Task Manager.

Have you done the obvious?
Like rebooting, unplugging the mouse, change port, use another pointing device?
You give very little as far of device type or model.

Well, duh. I checked the connection and rebooted. Problem fixed! I guess I am just a dummy.
