Solved folder desktop keep pop-up

Hello everyone,
I had a problem since yesterday, it's making me crazy :-(
Whenever i click on a folder (documents, dowload, movie, pictures,... or any others folders), desktop page open (in a new page everytime
I tried many things, clean cache, watch for a virus,...
PS : i have two accounts on my laptop, one private and one for work, the one for work is fine, i don't have this problem, but in my private i cant access to my photo or others folders.

SPECS :
HP victus
Windows 11 Family pack
I have tried : Reboot, clean the cache, folder option (put in default configuration), with command i check the health is ok.

Have a look at this Tutorial, scroll down to “Option 5” and make sure your settings are set properly and not to open in new window.

Thank you for your concern and answer.

Before to ask here i have tried many things ;
1. Put in default option (like option 5)
2. DISM Clean health
3. DISM Restore health
4. SFC.exe SCANNOW
5. Reboot
6. Re-install windows 11 without losing data (download from microsoft assistant)
7. Uninstall all last application (it was game)


Seriously i'm completely lost, i'm not an IT, i use computer since i'm 14 years i start to "pentium I". I don't say that i know everything in microsoft.
I want to say by this, i understand IT problem and generally know what to do, but in this case, I've never seen this problem click on any folder, and it's keeping open the desktop in a new windows, whatever where is the folder or the name folder. It's everytime the desktop coming.

Maybe suggest a solution with "registry editor" ?
I feel the problem can comes from there

You may as well try the following:
Change the option (in option 5) and tell it to open folders in a new window. Save the settings and reboot the computer.
Go back into the folder options and change it not to open in a new window, save settings and check or reboot and check.

Other than this suggestion, you have already tried everything that I would of suggested. Maybe someone smarter than I can help you.

There's a key. Ask yourself "What happened since yesterday?" This was update Tuesday week, but I doubt it's that since the other account is OK.
Did you make any changes since then...install any new apps, change settings, etc? If you didn't do anything, what I strongly suspect is corruption in that user account since the other account is OK. I do not read what I think is French, but if this is a local account those folders should reside on your hard drive, rather than onedrive.. (Desktop Documents, Pictures, Videos) Is that correct? If that is correct, do you have a backup image you can restore.

A system restore will not help you as it does not affect user accounts or user files.

If you do not have your data backed up and cannot access it through Windows, the only suggestion I have is to attempt to recover the data using a live Linux distro. Mint or Ubuntu are good ones. You download the iso and use Rufus to make a live Linux usb drive. Boot from the drive, do not install Linux, but use the live option and run straight off the usb drive and see if you can access the files. Copy them to an external drive. If you cannot get to the files using this method, I think your files are lost.

Boot back into Windows, and create a new user account. Make sure you make it an administrator. Copy the files you recovered (if it was successful) into the new account in their proper folders..

Delete the old account.

I have news, i did it.

I watched register and i saw something missing. i dont know why and how, but i just copy the register fomr my other account.
So, what i do :

1. go to regedit
2. Open -- > HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
3. Open -- > Folder
4. Open -- > shell
5. Open -- > open
6. Open -- > command

in others words :
"User"\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\open\command

I watched here and i see "DelegateExecute" was empty no code, so i go to my other account and i copy the code :
-- > {11dbb47c-a525-400b-9e80-a54615a090c0}

And magic time, it's worked.
