OS
Windows 11 - Updated automatically
Either my memory is faulty (distinct possibility) or something has changed on my PC. I have two VDUs - 3840 x 2160 and 2560 x 1440. All sizes are fine in the lower resolution VDU, but on the higher one .....
I have set screen accessibility to 180%, text size so that text on most screens is a comfortable size, but still some apps the text is too small. In Outlook, one of my may apps in terms of use, the default size when I open an email looks around 6-8 points, with the slider at the bottom right set to midpoint 100%. . I can use the slider to set it to around 150% but I have to do that for every message.
Is there any way of making the default larger for all these awkward apps. The basic controls only seem to work on some apps.
I think know the answer - no, but it's worth asking.

If it is the Outlook that is part of Office:
font in messages

font in message list

font in reading pane
If you use reading pane - Only way is using zoom slider bar and it is on a per message basis. It is for this reason that I do not use reading pane but open each message to read.

I'm not sure where you are referring to View - View Settings - Other settings.
Found it - I had already tried that. It helps with some things but not with boxes such as for example the View - View settings boxes. Text there is very small. But will look further tomorrow!

I've fiddled with what controls are available and between View, Accessibility and text controls I've probably got the best I will ever get. Some apps do seem to result in very small fonts on high res screens and don't provide any way of altering it (their help desk's admission).
Next step - new glasses? Optician wasn't than encouraging.
Thanks for the help.
