My Dell XPS 8940 Win 11 takes more than two minutes to reboot. I’m thinking it’s a dual boot problem.
Years ago, I set up my Dell XPS with a dual boot (Win 11 and 10). It took more than two minutes to boot. So I removed the dual using the usual steps. Nonetheless it still takes 2 minutes to boot.
See before and after removing dual boot.
Now, during reboot, the message on the screen says:
Checking Media Presence..
›Media Present.
›Start PXE over IPv on HAC: 74-86-E2-02-3D-8F.
I have another Win 11 desktop. It reboots under two minutes and doesn’t show the message. Any suggestions of how to speed up reboot?
