If you travel a lot and been in immigration / passport control at airports or other places with long lines of people waiting for things having a kindle is really convenient to pass the time and ignore the usually inane complaints of people in those lines moaning about stuff they can do NOTHING about -- try arriving these days at LAX (Los Angeles International) when 3 or 4 international flights arrive at roughly the same time and there's only 2 or 3 passport control officers on duty -- and for such a technologically advanced country as the USA -- haven't they heard of e-gates at airports -- very few (if any) make on the day "ad hoc" international flights to the USA so the USA already should have data on around 99.5% of incoming passengers so e-gates shouldn't be a problem. !!!! Perfect place for reading a kindle !!!.
