This site does a passable job of translating subtitles decently into most languages --it probably calls the google api bit since translation A.I is pretty robust the translations are very much OK -- apart from some glitches when in a military film a soldier says Out of ammo pass me a magazine, and the translate comes up wiht Out of Ammo pass me a comic. But 99% perfectly OK.
I wanted this particularly to get an English subtitle translation of the excellent 2021 French file Eiffel on the building of the Eiffel Tower.
just use your browser, upload the file name (usually ass, .sub, srt etc are subtitle formats etc) and download the translated file into your movie / tv episode file.
