Solved A.I and subtitle translation --Good these days

Hi folks
With Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon etc all seeming to produce stuff in dark rooms and of almost inaudible quality these days - and I have 100% perfect hearing BTW (how is it with so many degrees available in Media Studies that mixing of both video and audio is worse than in 1940 productions judging by what I see now on TV !!) then you might like this if you can get any subtitles e.g from opensubtitles.org or others -- don't pay though because there are scams aplenty on these sorts of places .

opensubtitles,org is 100% free - any request for dosh is a scam !! is usually OK to get subtitles in some language -- doesn't matter which one and then you can translate the .srt or .ass file to language of your choice and the A.I is pretty good these days,

skip all the ads etc - and the thing works better now than it has for years -- I have 100% perfect hearing but still find subtitles very useful for watching a lot of modern produced stuff . It's now almost 100% OK these days -- we aren't talking about 100% professional U.N or diplomatic translation quality here..

Hi there.

A load of these providers now don't offer subtitles -- I know I shouldn't do it but i've sometimes downloaded programs via TPB or rarbg etc - the programs provided by Amazon etc --which I've already paid for so I am not ashamed to do this -- just done the downloads because I can the use opensubtitles.org to download the subtitles for these downloaded programs.

An example is for the SKY TV series Simulant .

I've paid for SKY TV so no probs there -- no subtitles so I downloaded the set from from a torrent from TPB and then used opensubtitles.org to get subtitles -- and the translated into isl -- although just having them in eng was good enough.

KODI on an amazon firestick -- open the program and connect to your streaming server / computer and then choose download subtitles -- set the subtitle downloader in KODI to opensubtitles.org.

OK people might question my use of TPB but I have actually paid for the content so I don't feel any shame in doing this to get subtitles

Why all programs these days aren't offered without subtitles today I just don't fathom --technology to create them is simple and often modern sound mixing is abominable so even with 100% good hearing it's not always easy to understand what;s going on.
