Windows 11
Since was resolved with Dell Alienware R11 support I'm more interested what was cause. started with over last month freeze on startup once at main screen or PXE msg posted w/photo. I have done only win11 updates.

Boot order changed from
1 IPV4
2IPV6
3 Win Boot manager

Fix was to move #1 boot as and leave others alone.
1 Win Boot manager

it must wait for connection. is it freezing totally or does it turning around circling? anyway disable it if you don't need it. go full Uefi mode.

Not sure what may have caused your boot order to change, but clearly that is the cause of the problem. The first two options are network boot (PXE) using IPv4 and then IPv6 with the Windows boot manager after kicking in after those time out.

Were any changes made to the BIOS such as a BIOS update?

I made no changes to the BIOS, but maybe DELL pushed it during their updates.

Odd. I've never seen that simply change by itself, but at least you figured out what it was and what to do to correct it :-)
