Frequent W11 crash when waking or going to sleep

Hi,

I recently upgraded my desktop computer with a 3090 24GB GPU and 4TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, and a Windows update to 24H2. I'm guessing this upgrade or update led to instability in my system.

The computer works fine for intensive tasks (mostly work, sometimes gaming), however, I get a BSOD once every 1-3 days, either when going to waking up from sleep.
There are no crashes unless I use the sleep feature.

The BSOD is usually a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION or DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.

Would revert back to 23H2 or you could try a clean install of 24H2 (clean installs solved some issues for people who upgraded from 23H2 to 24H2). Tho, 23H2 is still a safer bet (for now).

Personally, I'm not whiling to "waste" time trying to solve 24H2 issues - even paid (lesson learned the hard way), only to realize it was some driver or individual system specific issue. Even more obnoxious to do that over the internet. While aware this issue started after a Windows Upgrade from 23H2 to 24H2 - In real life - with your specific system - would reset the Bios to defaults (or safe setting), check the temperatures, would check the power profile and all the latest drivers. If no issue here - would simply revert back to 23H2 - which worst case takes less than a hour - while trying to solve the issue turning every virtual rock - that could possibly cause this issues - can take hours only to reach to same conclusion (and revert back to 23H2).
