Get rid of Browsers Extensions, it wants to be updated every day multiple times a day, tired of it

As already mentioned in this topic (#15), extension updates are handled independently and don't cause browser updates (to be announced by the browser essentials button, which is the subject of this topic).

Have you disabled the "Browser essentials" button in Settings > Appearance?

Do you still receive this or some other message when you try to update?

Have you tried repairing or re-setting Edge?

Have you tried deleting your Edge profile(s) and starting from scratch?

Have not repaired or reset Edge. or deleted profiles.

It does the same thing on all my Windows 11 PC's. I am logged into them with my account.
I don't see how Edge would need repairing on more than 3 different PC. I have 4 windows 11 PC on all the time here.

no.

One of the PC sits in the LR and we use it to watch TV, streaming etc... and I never changed any settings on it.

if this reg (what i said before) doesn't resolve that button NOT showing.. then your edge profile is corrupt

Correct. Because this is expected behaviour.

Nothing is broken so there's nothing to fix.

That button is intended to always show when an update is available.
