I don't see this option:

Get Windows updates as soon as they're available for your device​

after installing 2023-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5026372).

Is there a registry setting that needs to be set and/or created for this to happen??

I WAS on the Insider program a few months ago, but I opted out of that.

Since then I have been able to install 2023-04 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5025305) with no issues.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sadly this no longer works in Canary builds, even with .reg applied.
Not too surprising since it's a Zn (zinc) release for XBox.

I downloaded and installed the suggested registry patch to add the key, i then re-booted my laptop.
I still don't get the optional message displayed.
Any further suggestions??

I'm afraid there's not much else you can do other than wait for the feature to be available.

I have Moment 3 update installed but still don't see: Get the latest updates as soon as they are available.

Is there a registry entry I need for this message to appear.
