Windows 11 Pro
Hello!
Let me start in saying this isn't as straight forward as it seems. I saw the tutorial on how to correct this, but it does not pertain to this situation.

OK, there must have been huge Windows updates somewhere along the line and it swallowed up my OneDrive files and put them in "C:\Windows.old.000\Users\daveh\OneDrive." There is data in the folders but the files within are inaccessible as I get that error, or I get 'cloud provider is not online.'

What is strange is it's only a couple of folders and for the time being I'm really interested in "C:\Windows.old.000\Users\daveh\OneDrive\Documents\Android Backup."

Is there any way to resurrect this folder and files? I still don't know how these things didn't get included!

OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621

Any help extracting these files would be highly appreciated!!!!

Regards,
Dave

You should be able to download the file from onedrive on the web. Sign in - Microsoft OneDrive

That should take care of your immediate need for the file but from your description of the overall problem I would surmise that at some point prior to the update you made some attempt to change/get rid of onedrive. That be so, please describe what you attempted to do and how you did it did so we can best tell you how to straighten out the base problem.

@glasskuter thank you for replying!
I've been a MS Office/365 subscriber for going on three years now. OneDrive runs on my PC 24/7. I built the box I have now two years ago.

I went poking around on the via the web access to OneDrive and those files are not there!

Like I stated above it was some major Windows update, not sure what or when. I didn't do anything offhanded to it. Honestly I've been really depressed for the past almost two years and the medication is helping me get an interest back into things I like. This is why I have no idea what happened.

I'd like to be able to re-introduce those files back into OneDrive but it won't let me! :(

Next solution or suggestion?
