I tried this yesterday and found all of the Apps in C:\Program Files and deleted all references to Get Started. By doing this is , it messed up my System, an in place upgrade repair did not fix the problem. For some reason known only to Microsoft, removing that changed my file associations. When I tried to open an image file, my system wanted to print it. Other stuff was messed up as well. This App takes up very little space, so I would recommend to just leave it be.@Wisewiz![]()
Where are Windows Store Apps installed & how to access the folder
The Windows Store apps are installed in the hidden WindowsApps folder. Change its permissions & access WindowsApps folder installation directory.www.thewindowsclub.com
It's likely to be in the same place as shown above.
