Google Meet - unlimited time for one to one video - other info wanted

Hi folks
The Google Meet on android / iPhone seems easy to use and no time limit if just calling one person -- much easier than Teams etc. 60 Mins for Groups without charge -- while people might have a reservation about GOOGLE this seems by far the easiest and least invasive video calling system (at least between one to one's) that I've seen.

Any others here use it. - I hate instagram etc but this app just works. And it must be simple - it took me no time at all to install, use, call up another person who still thinks computers are nothing but "the black arts" and it worked first go -- that's got to be a record.

I do and it works well.
Apart from using it on Android and iOS, you can do meetings and calls on the Google meet website.

Google Meet used to be called Google Duo. It worked great between 2 Google/Android phones. If you wanted to video chat to iPhone users you had to use Google Duo as Facetime was not available on Google phones. Haven't used it much since they rebranded it to Google Meet but still have it on my phone.
