Windows 11
I'm wanting to upgrade my graphics card but also not wanting to bottleneck the performance.

Currently I have:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900 CPU @ 3.10GHz 3.10 GHz
32GB Memory (my motherboards max)
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 Super

I just want to upgrade my graphics card to give the computer some new life in between buying a new gaming PC.

Some cards need more power than others so you need to say how much spare power is available to power the card before you can specify a card.

Where do I see my 'spare' power? I can get my power source information after work if that's what you need.

You need to have a more powerful PSU. I think that at least 650 to 700 would be best. The graphic card suggestion will be based on what you want to do with it.

Well that stinks, at this point I should just wait it out until I get a new PC. I hate that once you go to replace one part you have to replace a whole handful more...before you know it could have gotten a new PC lol

When you do get the new PC make sure to get a decent PSU with at least 700w

Interesting. nVidia spec's the 2070 Super at 215W, and recommends a minimum PSU wattage of 650. On that basis, your current PC can't possibly work. ;-)

Just based on keeping to the same maximum power draw as your 2070 Super, you could replace it with an RTX 4070 (but not a 4070 ti). Are you willing to risk $530+ (Newegg) to try it? If you wish to try one, you may want to be careful about what sort of PCI-E power connector(s) it wants.

An RTX 4060 should be safe, but it may not be a worthwhile upgrade over a 2070 Super.
