That makes no sense. If you can see the games, you're reading the SSD.
There are 5 things in that linked article above more likely than some of the suggestions posted here....
Suggest you check for all. Especially heating. Unfortunately these drives get hot and if not properly cooled can throttle.
BTW, I have 4 Samsung NVMe drives (also an SSD) in my system, including a couple of 4TB drives, none disconnect. None require "
Full Performance" mode in Samsung Magician to work.

With all that said, where is the OP installing the NVMe drives? On the board or using the ROG Hyper M.2 card holder for their board?
